Membership Benefits
Individual Membership
In order to allow for a diverse membership, there are four categories of membership with the Library Association of Alberta: Individual, Institutional, Commercial and Affiliate. Membership in the Library Association of Alberta is open to everyone.
This category entitles the member to:
- access to the Association Membership Directory,
- reduced rates for LAA sponsored and co-sponsored workshops,
- one vote on Association matters,
- serve on committees and participate in interest groups,
- run for a position on the Board, and
- apply for continuing education grants and scholarship.
